How to calculate
Derive scoring from makes and compute field-goal and true-shooting measures with explicit shot-class denominators.
eFG=(FGM+0.5×3PM)/FGA; TS=points/[2×(FGA+0.44×FTA)]
Worked example
5 of 10 two-pointers, 3 of 8 three-pointers and 4 of 5 free throws give 23 points, about 52.7778% eFG and 56.9307% conventional true shooting.
Assumptions and input details
The 0.44 free-throw coefficient is a conventional aggregate approximation, not exact possessions. Made shots cannot exceed attempts. True-shooting and effective-field-goal ratios are different from ordinary made-shot percentages and can exceed 100% in unusual samples. Zero attempts leave the relevant statistic undefined.

Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
