Calculation steps
Work through one step at a time or reveal the complete calculation. The steps use your current inputs.
How to calculate
Total entered current assets, then progressively exclude inventory and other current assets for quick assets, and receivables for cash-ratio assets.
Current ratio=current assets/current liabilities; quick ratio=(cash+short investments+receivables)/current liabilities
Worked example
With sample assets 105000 and liabilities 50000, current ratio is 2.1, quick ratio 1.2 and cash ratio 0.6. Net working capital is 55000.
Assumptions and input details
A point-in-time accounting scenario, not a conclusion about solvency. Components must be mutually exclusive; receivables should reflect the amount intended to be collectible. Zero current liabilities make ratios undefined while net working capital remains calculable. Timing, inventory quality, restricted cash and contingent obligations are not inferred. No live market data or national tax rules are inferred. Enter consistent amounts in one currency unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
