Calculation steps
Work through one step at a time or reveal the complete calculation. The steps use your current inputs.
How to calculate
Build four per-attempt rate components, clamp each to 0–2.375, add them and scale by 100/6.
Rating=100/6×Σ clamp(component,0,2.375)
Worked example
25 completions from 40 attempts, 300 yards, 3 touchdown passes and 1 interception give components 1.625, 1.125, 1.5 and 1.75: rating 100.
Assumptions and input details
Positive pass attempts and consistent whole pass counts are required. Passing yards may be negative. The metric’s theoretical ceiling is 158⅓. It does not include rushing, sacks, situation, opponent strength or leadership and is distinct from QBR and NCAA passing efficiency. No player data or league leaderboard eligibility is fetched.

Using this calculator
Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
