How to calculate
Preserve measured volume order and identify the steepest finite interval without polynomial smoothing or extrapolation.
Interval slope=ΔpH/Δvolume; estimate=midpoint of largest-|slope| interval; 1:1 sample concentration=Ctitrant Vestimate/Vsample
Worked example
The default log’s largest absolute slope is between 24 and 25 mL, giving midpoint estimate 24.5 mL and 1:1 concentration estimate 0.098 mol/L.
Assumptions and input details
Equal-length complete observations, pH −2…16 and strictly increasing nonnegative volume. Largest slope only estimates one measured transition and can be noise-driven; tied maxima use the first bracket and are counted. Concentration assumes a single 1:1 reaction; no actual endpoint certification or chemical identity.
Unit definitions
Unit selection is independent of language. Each selector contains only units for its physical quantity. Calculations use defined base units internally.
The 36 volume definitions distinguish US liquid, US dry and Imperial measures. Cups carry an explicit definition. Japanese shō is 2401/1331 L and a gō is one tenth of it; the explicitly labelled 180 mL rice cup is separate.
Regional measures are not interchangeable merely because their names look similar. This is a documented selection, not a claim to include every historical unit.

Using this calculator
Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
Calculate an ideal monoprotic weak-acid titration pH by solving full mass/charge balance, including water equilibrium.
Integrate tabulated measurements using trapezoids or composite Simpson 1/3. Keep interval contributions, signed accumulation and the entered unit labels visible.
Enter two known points and a target x or y. Calculate the other coordinate, view the straight-line model and clearly distinguish interpolation from extrapolation.
