Calculation steps

Work through one step at a time or reveal the complete calculation. The steps use your current inputs.

    How to calculate

Use dismissals as the batting-average denominator, batting balls for strike rate and bowling legal balls or wickets for bowling measures.

    Bat average=runs/(innings−not outs); bat SR=100×runs/balls; economy=6×conceded runs/legal balls

    Worked example

500 runs in 12 innings with 2 not-outs give batting average 50. Off 400 balls, strike rate is 125. Bowling 20.3 overs means 123 legal balls, so 150 conceded runs gives economy about 7.317073.

    Assumptions and input details

You provide official credited runs, wickets and not-out counts. Overs.balls is base-six notation, so .3 means three balls rather than three tenths of an over. Zero denominators are undefined rather than zero. Extras attribution, wicket attribution, competition records and ranking qualification are not determined.

    Using this calculator

Can I enter my own problem?

Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.

    Are the results exact?

Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.

    Is my input uploaded?

The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
