Calculation steps
Work through one step at a time or reveal the complete calculation. The steps use your current inputs.
How to calculate
Generate every sowing date at the selected interval within the entered range. Add the same maturity delay and inclusive harvest-window length to each batch.
Sow i=start+i×interval; harvest start=sow+maturity; harvest end=start of harvest+window−1
Worked example
Starting March 1, 2027 every 14 days through April 30 produces five batches. With 45 days to harvest, the first window starts April 15.
Assumptions and input details
A purely entered date-offset scenario; no crop, climate, frost, daylength or seasonal growth-rate lookup. Window length counts its first and last day inclusively. Equal window and sowing interval give adjacent modeled windows. Up to 200 batches, with dates restricted to years 1900–2199. Maturity starts at sowing here, unlike the separate transplant-offset calendar. This does not guarantee continuous yield.
Using this calculator
Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
