Calculation steps
Work through one step at a time or reveal the complete calculation. The steps use your current inputs.
How to calculate
Use a one-point first service turn followed by alternating two-point turns, and check the entered score for completion.
First point: first server; then alternating two-point service blocks; win at target with margin β₯2
Worked example
With A serving first, service order starts A, B, B, A, A, B, B. At 3β2 the sixth point belongs to B, from the left/advantage court.
Assumptions and input details
Select the format actually used in your event. Next 20 positions are conditional if play continues; scores may finish sooner. A/B means singles players or team-level sides, without individual doubles rotation. End changes use the chosen standard or alternative convention.

Using this calculator
Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
