Calculation steps
Work through one step at a time or reveal the complete calculation. The steps use your current inputs.
How to calculate
Subtract entered fees from each closed trade result, classify the net outcome and aggregate profits, losses and consecutive losing trades in the entered order.
Net trade result=gross result−fees; profit factor=sum positive net results/absolute sum negative net results
Worked example
Gross results 100, −50 and 0 with zero fees give one win, one loss and one break-even trade; win rate over all trades is 33.3333% and profit factor is 2.
Assumptions and input details
1–500 closed trades in chronological order. Break-even trades count in all-trade win rate and interrupt a losing streak. Profit factor is undefined if no net losses, including when all trades are flat. Unequal position sizes and time in market are not risk-normalized; no return or trading recommendation is inferred. All results are before tax unless the entered cash flows already include it. No national rules, investment recommendations or actual market forecasts are supplied. No live market data or national tax rules are inferred. Enter consistent amounts in one currency unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Using this calculator
Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
