Calculation steps
Work through one step at a time or reveal the complete calculation. The steps use your current inputs.
How to calculate
Combine the angular factor with the time-squared denominator, or read RPM change per entered time.
1 rev/s²=2π rad/s²=60 rpm/s=3600 rpm/min
Worked example
1 revolution per second squared is 60 RPM change per second. One rpm/s is π/30 rad/s².
Assumptions and input details
Angular acceleration is rate of change of angular velocity. rpm/min means RPM change during each minute; it is not RPM squared. A signed value follows the selected rotation direction. No radius, tangential acceleration, motor torque, motion profile or attainable operating rate is inferred.

Using this calculator
Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
