How to calculate
Calculate cylindrical fill volume and use the entered density for total blend mass. Split that mass into wax and fragrance using the selected denominator.
Total blend mass=volume×density×(1+extra); wax-basis wax mass=total/(1+fragrance fraction)
Worked example
For 106 g total blend at 6% of wax mass, wax is 100 g and fragrance 6 g. At 6% of total blend, the same 106 g instead contains 6.36 g fragrance.
Assumptions and input details
The density refers to the finished blend at the intended fill condition; this is not an automatic wax-density lookup. The percentage is an entered arithmetic scenario, not a permitted fragrance load. Use product-specific manufacturer data. Container wall thickness and headspace must already be excluded. No wick choice, heating, burning performance, shrinkage, curing or batch process is modeled.

Unit definitions
Unit selection is independent of language. Each selector contains only units for its physical quantity. Calculations use defined base units internally.
Choose from 23 length definitions, including explicitly labelled regional measures. Area conversions square the length factor; geometric volumes cube it.
Regional measures are not interchangeable merely because their names look similar. This is a documented selection, not a claim to include every historical unit.

Using this calculator
Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
Calculate the volume and surface area of a box, cylinder, sphere or cone. Mix length units, inspect a dimensioned diagram and compare regional volume units.
Find density, mass or volume from the other two values. Choose international and regional units and inspect the formula and unit-conversion tables.
