Calculation steps
Work through one step at a time or reveal the complete calculation. The steps use your current inputs.
How to calculate
Discount entered unlevered cash flows, add the discounted optional terminal value, then add cash/nonoperating assets and subtract entered debt/claims.
Enterprise value=ΣFCFF_t/(1+r)^t+terminal value/(1+r)^N; terminal=last FCFF(1+g)/(r−g)
Worked example
Two year-end cash flows of 100 at 10% discount and 2% terminal growth give terminal value 1275 and enterprise value about 1227.27273.
Assumptions and input details
1–100 forecast years. Perpetual growth requires discount rate > growth and a nonnegative final forecast flow. Cash flows and discount rate must use consistent nominal/real and tax conventions; neither is estimated here. A negative residual equity value is an arithmetic claim shortfall, not a negative tradable share price. No valuation conclusion or market forecast is supplied. No live market data or national tax rules are inferred. Enter consistent amounts in one currency unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Using this calculator
Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
Discount signed cash flows at their entered times and sum their present values. Keep initial outlays, future inflows and the undiscounted total visible.
Calculate EPS, price multiples and return on equity from entered company totals.
Add balances in different currencies, including debts. Convert the total and compare a table and currency chart.
