Calculation steps

How to calculate
Solve converted principal from an inclusive sender budget and fee-on-principal rule. Convert that principal at the entered quote and subtract recipient-currency fees.
Converted principal=(sender budget−fixed sender fee)/(1+sender fee rate); received=principal×quote−recipient fee
Worked example
Budget 1000, fixed sender fee 10, 1% fee on converted principal, rate 0.9 and recipient fee 2 convert about 980.198 sender units and deliver about 880.178 recipient units.
Assumptions and input details
All rates and fees are entered scenarios, not executable or daily reference quotes. The percentage fee is on converted principal, not total budget. Each currency is explicitly labelled. Recipient fee cannot exceed converted proceeds. Optional benchmark measures an all-cost recipient shortfall relative to fee-free conversion of the entire budget; blank means unknown. No taxes or transfer action. No live market data or national tax rules are inferred. Enter consistent amounts in one currency unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Using this calculator
Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
