How to calculate
Apply the volume allowance, then solve component masses/volumes without assuming mass and volume ratios are interchangeable.
Mass ratio r: mB=V/(r/ρA+1/ρB), mA=r mB; volume ratio r: VB=V/(r+1), VA=r VB
Worked example
For additive 300 mL at 2:1 by volume, A is 200 mL and B 100 mL. With densities 1.1 and 0.95 g/mL, their masses are 220 g and 95 g, not a 2:1 mass ratio.
Assumptions and input details
Use the ratio and densities for the actual product; example values do not specify a real resin system. Additive component volumes are assumed for this estimate; contraction and fillers are not modeled. Changing the selected basis changes the required masses. This calculator does not choose a ratio, alter cure chemistry or determine safe batch size, pour depth, ventilation, temperature or cure time.

Unit definitions
Unit selection is independent of language. Each selector contains only units for its physical quantity. Calculations use defined base units internally.
The 36 volume definitions distinguish US liquid, US dry and Imperial measures. Cups carry an explicit definition. Japanese shō is 2401/1331 L and a gō is one tenth of it; the explicitly labelled 180 mL rice cup is separate.
Regional measures are not interchangeable merely because their names look similar. This is a documented selection, not a claim to include every historical unit.

Using this calculator
Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
Find density, mass or volume from the other two values. Choose international and regional units and inspect the formula and unit-conversion tables.
Calculate the volume and surface area of a box, cylinder, sphere or cone. Mix length units, inspect a dimensioned diagram and compare regional volume units.
