How to calculate
Apply the basic dynamic rating-life power law separately for ball and roller bearings using a supplied equivalent dynamic load.
Ball L10=(C/P)³ million revolutions; roller L10=(C/P)^(10/3); hours=L10×10⁶/(60 rpm)
Worked example
C=30000 N and P=10000 N give ball L10=27 million revolutions, or 450 hours at 1000 rpm.
Assumptions and input details
L10 is the conventional 90%-reliability basic fatigue rating under its model, not expected actual service life or a guarantee. Equivalent load and C must match the bearing. Lubrication, contamination, temperature, static load, speed limits, mounting and modified-life factors are excluded.

Using this calculator
Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
