Calculation steps

Work through one step at a time or reveal the complete calculation. The steps use your current inputs.

    How to calculate

Annualize the input with the explicitly entered paid-work assumptions, then divide by the output-period factor.

    Annual hourly equivalent=hourly×hours/week×paid weeks/year; monthly×12; semi-monthly×24

    Worked example

30 per hour at 40 paid hours/week and 52 paid weeks/year equals 62400 per year or 5200 per month. Semi-monthly means 24 annual periods; biweekly means 26 at this schedule.

    Assumptions and input details

Gross equivalent rates only, in one currency. Weekly and biweekly bases use your entered paid work weeks; calendar years do not always contain exactly52weeks or26pay dates. Monthly and semi-monthly rates use12and24payments. No overtime, unpaid leave, bonuses, withholding, benefits, exchange rates or payroll-date schedule is assumed.

    Using this calculator

Can I enter my own problem?

Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.

    Are the results exact?

Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.

    Is my input uploaded?

The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
