How to calculate
For each leg divide distance by average moving speed. Add the break after that leg, and carry the clock forward into the next dated departure.
Leg time=distance/average speed; finish=departure+sum(moving time+break after each leg)
Worked example
Leaving at 09:00, 120 km at 60 km/h arrives at 11:00. A 30-minute break and 90 km at 45 km/h finish at 13:30.
Assumptions and input details
1–30 legs. Breaks occur after every row, including the final row, so the final schedule time includes its break. Clock labels use civil arithmetic without timezone or daylight-saving changes. Display times round to the nearest minute while totals retain fractional minutes. Average speeds are user estimates; this is not live routing, traffic or transport timetable data.
Unit definitions
Unit selection is independent of language. Each selector contains only units for its physical quantity. Calculations use defined base units internally.
Choose from 23 length definitions, including explicitly labelled regional measures. Area conversions square the length factor; geometric volumes cube it.
Regional measures are not interchangeable merely because their names look similar. This is a documented selection, not a claim to include every historical unit.

Using this calculator
Can I enter my own problem?
Yes. Replace the example values with your own inputs. The result, calculation steps, tables and applicable diagrams update from those inputs. Blank or invalid values clear the result; example values are never silently substituted for missing inputs.
Are the results exact?
Results use floating-point arithmetic and displayed rounding. Read the formula, assumptions and any stated data precision before interpreting the result.
Is my input uploaded?
The calculation runs in your browser. No account, file upload or external AI service is required. Inputs are not saved between page reloads.
Find pace, elapsed time or distance from the other two. Compare minutes per kilometer and mile, inspect split times and estimate constant-pace finish times.
Total dated work shifts after entered unpaid breaks and estimate gross pay at one entered hourly rate.
Estimate trip fuel and optional cost from distance, fuel economy and your own fuel price. Compare km/L, L/100 km, US mpg and Imperial mpg.
